Biography
Harassment, Employment Mediator

My specialty is Emotionally charged Diversity-Impacted Employment Disputes

In the past sixteen years, I have conducted more than my fair share of employment mediations (I stopped counting after 600.) in both the litigation and early-intervention stages. Nearly all involved diversity-related claims of race/color, gender, ADA, or age discrimination, as well as the associated claims of harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.

I Bring Diversity Sensitivity To The Table
I am not an attorney, so I never give legal advice. Nevertheless, I keep current of the changes and issues regarding employment law. I can also offer specific guidance regarding EEOC policies and procedures.

But, most importantly, I bring to the table the requisite sensitivity and know-how to overcome obstructive emotions, motives, and behaviors. In addition, I know how to build sufficient trust and understanding to close the deal, thereby minimizing the emotional trauma of all concerned.

I’m Also A Respected ADR Trainer
I have trained well over a thousand attorneys, corporate and community leaders, and their staff members in the mediation process, the value of diversity in the workplace, and the management of workplace conflict. These training sessions were conducted through the Los Angeles County Bar Association/DRS, the Institute for the Study of Conflict Transformation, and my own private practice.
